ALWYN BUCHANAN - Sad News

The WSSCSW is very saddened to hear that Alwyn Buchanan passed away recently in hospital aged 90 years old.

He and his late wife Vi held the Trealvi affix and successfully bred WSS for many years from around the late 1970’s.

Vi was a past Secretary of the WSSC in the late 1980’s serving on the Committee and playing a large part in producing the Year Book for several years and was also a Championship Show judge.

Alwyn loved stewarding and was so well known throughout the whole dog show community, always extremely professional and knowledgeable. Judges knew they were in safe hands when Alwyn was ‘on duty’.

He will certainly be very much missed indeed.
