Masculine head but not coarse in any way. His skull is very slightly domed and of equal length to the muzzle with good chiselling beneath the eyes. Ears well set and hanging close to the head.
Clean neck of good length and free from throatiness. Shoulder is well laid with corresponding length and return of upper arm. Chest is of good width and depth. Forelegs straight and placed under the body with elbows close to the brisket. Ribcage is well sprung. Topline held well with slight rise over the loin. Strong hindquarters with moderate bend of stifle and well defined second thigh. Rear pasterns square from hock to heel. Nice round well padded feet.
